Mohammad Sayed Ahmed (Raza) is an Independent Director of Bangladesh National Insurance Company Limited. He joined the Board of Directors on April 17, 2023. Mr. Raza has completed a B.A. LLB (Hons) from the National Law School of India in Bangalore, India. With higher training in law from Wadham College, Oxford University, and Sussex University, UK, Mr. Sayed Ahmed Raza is the youngest Senior Advocate of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh. He worked with the United Nations as a voluntary lawyer in Sudan. He was elected with the highest vote in the Bangladesh Bar Council election in 2022 and now holds the post of Chairman of the Complaint and Vigilance Committee and is a member of five other committees of the Bangladesh Bar Council. He is also a member of many international legal forums. He is actively associated with a number of socio-cultural organisations. An active member of Central Sub Committee of Bangladesh Awami Leauge.
